A story where girl meets printer

Trapped in a claustrophobic office cubicle, a lonely customer service assistant is quietly coming undone. Isolated and exhausted, she finds solace in the one constant in her workday: the office printer. To him, she confesses her fears, her past, and the life she once imagined. And somehow, impossibly, he listens.

To her colleagues, the relationship is a cause for alarm—a troubling sign that something has gone wrong. Soon, she is diagnosed with burnout and sent home, facing redundancy and a far more devastating loss: separation from the only being who truly understands her.

But she refuses to let go of her sole companion without a fight. And it turns out the printer isn’t willing to let go either.
