In the early hours of November 29, 2019, security cameras near MI6 headquarters captured a young man pacing a balcony above the Thames before jumping into the river.

Days later, London parents Rachelle and Matthew Brettler learned that the man was their 19-year-old son, Zac. Shocked and grieving, they struggled to understand how his death could have been ruled a suicide.
