After moving from Istanbul to Salerno, Italy, Dilara finds herself trapped in a life of routine, caring for her aging father and her anxious husband while struggling to build a future of her own. Hoping that renovating a second bathroom will bring a sense of purpose, she instead opens the door to an impossible reality: the finished room has transformed into a Turkish prison cell—with Dilara as its bewildered inmate.
As she navigates the surreal prison, encountering skeptical guards, fellow prisoners, and haunting echoes of home, the boundaries between memory, exile, and reality begin to dissolve. Meanwhile, the world outside unravels as her husband vanishes, her father's grasp on reality weakens, and political turmoil casts an ever-growing shadow over everything she loves.
