When Noah Walker discovers Amelia stranded on his front lawn beside her broken-down car, he makes it clear he has neither the time nor the patience for celebrity drama. He’s busy running the pie shop his grandmother left him and fending off the well-meaning but meddlesome locals of his small town. Against his better judgment, he agrees to let her stay in his guest room—just until her car is repaired.

But as the days pass, Noah begins to see beyond the superstar façade to the real Amelia: warm, awkward, and aching from years spent in the spotlight. Drawn together, they grow closer, even as the clock ticks toward her return to fame and life on tour.
